The University of Alberta manages risk of loss to the University community and University assets through a Vehicle Management and Driver Safety Program that promotes courteous and professional operation of University vehicles.
Faculty, staff, students, collaborators and volunteers operating various University or Alberta owned, rented or leased motor vehicles locally and in association with international research projects must enter an authorization process that includes driver education and monitoring.
University of Alberta vehicle operators and are expected to uphold the University's reputation and protect the environment and University assets by adhering to all applicable laws, regulations and University Policies and Procedures regardless of where they may be operating.
